as the 2025 season nears its conclusion. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-690242a8b90f2\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>&#8220;Lattice will be entering HCS with King of the HIll, Oddball, and Strongholds,&#8221; revealed the HCS in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.halowaypoint.com\/news\/operation-shadows-ranked-update\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a blog post<\/a><\/strong>. &#8220;With that, we felt it was appropriate to swap out some gametypes as new ones are introduced.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-690242a8b995b\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Despite having a dedicated circuit and several established organisations as part of its partnership programme, Halo esports has seen a sharp drop in viewing figures following the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2025\/04\/optic-gaming-win-hcs-arlington-major-2025\">Arlington Major<\/a><\/strong> in April.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-690242a8ba0b4\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>After recording a peak of 112,541 viewers in Arlington, the Dallas Open and Salt Lake City Major failed to break 70,000, according to esports data platform <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/escharts.com\/tournaments\/halo5?order=peak\">Esports Charts<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-690242a8ba814\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>The most watched HCS tournament remains the HCS Kickoff Major Raleigh 2021 event which hit a peak of 267,279.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-690242a8baf85\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>This year&#8217;s HCS Charlotte Major <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2025\/07\/faze-clan-hcs-charlotte-major-2025-halo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was unveiled by FaZe Clan<\/a> and will take place in October 2025. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-heading-690242a8bb790\" class=\"esi-heading \">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"what_next_for_halo_esports-2\">What Next For Halo Esports?<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-690242a8bbf13\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>When all of the 2025 Majors conclude, attention will turn to the season-ending World Championship, taking place at the <strong>Seattle Convention Center<\/strong> in Seattle, Washington.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-690242a8bc66b\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>16 teams from across the world will compete for a share of a $1m (~\u00a3751,280) prize pool and the chance to be crowned the final champion of Halo Infinite. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-690242a8bcd9d\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>The next chapter of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2025\/07\/hcs-halo-infinite-departure-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the HCS<\/a><\/strong> has yet to be revealed, with <strong>343 Industries<\/strong> turning its attention to an unreleased Halo title.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The post <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2025\/08\/hcs-2025-map-pool-adjustment-charlotte-major\">HCS to adjust map pool for Charlotte Major<\/a> appeared first on <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\">Esports Insider<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Image credit: HCS The Halo Championship Series (HCS) has adjusted its map pool ahead of the Charlotte Major, the final Major of the Halo: Infinite cycle.
